OIPD provides assessment, accreditation services and professional awards to its members that are aligned to the nine levels of the British Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). Awards include Professional Certification or a Professional Masters Fellowship (Level 7), a Professional Specialist Doctorate Fellowship (Dr S), or a Professional DBA, which both come with the grade of Life Principal Fellow (Level 8). The Institute also offers a Post-Doctoral (Level 9) Senior Research Fellowship, carrying the title of Professor (Prof). All awards are for Life.

OIPD has over 500 members from around 30 countries and continues to grow. We have a learning division, Cambridge Global Learning (CGL), which provides a range of Professional Certification courses, including Learning & Development, Leadership & Strategic Thinking, Learning Interventionist & Group Facilitation Skills, and Professional Coaching Processes and Skills. CGL produces a bi-monthly E-magazine on learning, and OIPD publishes a quarterly journal. All members receive a complimentary subscription to both of these publications
