Membership Categories
OIPD recognises two principal categories of membership — Individual Membership and Institutional Membership — each with distinct privileges and recognition pathways.

Individual Membership
Individual membership is awarded to professionals who seek personal recognition through the OIPD assessment and accreditation process. Members progress through various levels — from Associate to Fellow — based on experience, qualifications, and professional achievements.
Individual membership categories include:
Institutional Membership
Institutional membership is extended to organisations such as universities, training providers, TVET centres, corporations, and professional bodies that align with OIPD’s mission to promote professional learning and global recognition.
There are two key categories under institutional membership:

Accredited Institutional Member (AIM)

An Accredited Institutional Member (AIM) is a recognised delivery and assessment partner of OIPD, approved to offer accredited professional and vocational certification programs. AIMs are subject to periodic quality audits, assessor training, and continuous moderation by OIPD to ensure global standards of quality and compliance. Accredited Institutional Members can:
  • Deliver OIPD-recognised qualifications and awards.
  • Conduct APEL and portfolio assessments under OIPD supervision.
  • Participate in events, research, and professional development initiatives.
